Are you an experienced and dedicated Personal Injury Claims Handler looking for a new challenge? This dynamic and forward-thinking insurance company is expanding its team in South Dublin and we want you to be a part of it!
As a Personal Injury Claims Handler, your primary responsibilities include delivering exceptional customer service by accurately capturing data at the notification stage, proactively managing all incoming communication for early and cost-effective claim resolution and overseeing correspondence to prevent escalation of claim duration and related costs. You will conduct desktop investigations, determining indemnity and liability at the initial stage, and negotiate settlements professionally and fairly with all parties involved. Managing an assigned workload from initiation to final settlement, you will report changes in claim complexity to the Claims Manager, and conduct regular file and reserve reviews to ensure adherence to agreed SLAs.
It is expected you have 3 to 4 years of personal injury claims in motor/EL/PL handling experience. APA qualified and ideally working towards your CIP. Strong awareness of underwriting principles, legal and liability knowledge, compliance and motor legislation.
