Communications Administrator (6 month contract)

Dublin city centre


A prestigious cultural institute based city centre, require a Communications Administrator to join their public engagement department.

Main responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support and assistance to the team
  • Assist in responding to media correspondence and queries
  • Supply captioned images to the media
  • Assist with production and distribution of publications
  • Source competitive quotes from suppliers and raise purchase orders
  • Liaise with designers and printers for production of Press Office publications
  • Proof reading and editing  documents
  • Assist with press photocalls and media visits

The successful candidate will have:

  • A third level qualification 
  • Proficient IT skills with a good knowledge of digital and social media
  • Previous experience in proof-reading and editing communication materials
  • Previous experience in PR or Media  is desirable
