Operations Administrator (1 Year Contract)

A major cultural institute based in the city centre are looking to add to their Operations Department. You will be responsible in completing their health & safety administration.

Main Responsibilities

  • Organise and schedule all H&S training for staff
  • Maintain all H&S records and prepare reports as required
  • Maintain and update both internal  & external H&S database
  • Conduct a review of all H&S policies and procedures
  • Participate in H&S audits and inspections
  • Participate in risk assessments, document findings and draft documentation
  • Process all purchase orders and invoices for the department
  • Schedule meetings for the Operations Department
  • Attend weekly departmental meetings, take minutes and distribute them to attendees
  • Draft correspondence to internal and external stakeholders


The ideal candidate

  • Previous experience in the area of security and health & safety / or in the public sector (desirable) 
  • Excellent administrative and planning skills with strong attention to detail
  • An ability to work under pressure
  • Knowledge of Security and safety Management principles, systems and standards
